During the visit, the hospital’s IT and Health Informatics teams provided an in-depth orientation on the design, development, and deployment of Dhulikhel Hospital\u2019s Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system. The students learned about how patient data is managed electronically across different departments, including registration, outpatient and inpatient services, laboratory, pharmacy, and billing.<\/span><\/p>\n The team also shared insights into the hospital’s journey in building a robust and scalable EMR system, highlighting key features such as user-friendly interfaces, role-based access controls, clinical decision support, and reporting functionalities.
